ABOUT THE COMPANY:Noel Boyer is a Springfield native and a 1995 graduate of Missouri
State University. He entered his first tree-climbing competition in 1997, and won his first ISA Midwestern
Chapter Championship in 1998. He has since won that title five more times, and finished
ninth at the International ISA Championship in 2004. Earlier this year, All About Trees organized a
work day at Springfield National Cemetery with a team of volunteers from the Southwest Chapter
of MCFC. Noel serves on the advisory board for Ozark Technical Community College’s turf and
landscape management department, the citizens’ advisory committee for City of Springfield Tree
City USA, and as chairman of the Southwest Missouri Chapter of MCFC.
ABOUT THE COMPANY: Hansen’s Tree Services was founded by Jeff Hansen in 1988. Hansen’s was the first treecare company in Missouri to be certified by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Hansen’s employs 11 arborists certified by the International Society of Arboriculture, making the company one of the most accredited tree service companies in Missouri. In 2008, Hansen’s announced a joint venture with Journagan Construction to manage all green-waste recycling for three of its quarries in southern Missouri.
